As if all this wasn’t enough, a search for Seefeld holidays will often highlight some of the unique cultural events that take place in the region. These take place at various points throughout the year and include highlights such as ‘Blumencorso’ (a flower festival on the first Sunday of August) and the recently instigated ‘Karwendelmarsch, which takes place at the end of August. This event begins in Scharnitz and allows walkers to experience some of the region’s most notable highlights whilst promoting conservation and natural living. Finally, another typical happening is the ‘Almabtrieb’, a traditional procession during which the cows down from the pastures in the first week of September.
