Experience Jamaica – Natural and All Inclusive

Experience Jamaica

The sheer size of Jamaica implies there are tens of kilometers of great beach to choose from. Most of the island nation’s top destinations are in traditional tourist hubs such as Negril and Montego Bay.

But there are many excellent beaches such as those in Treasure Beach and Port Antonio that are virtually off the radar but that hide beauty that is at par with the best in the world. The following is a list of some of Jamaica’s best beaches:

Seven Mile Beach

As the name suggests, this is the longest contiguous beach on the island. It is famed for its laidback, free spirited ambience including several designated nude sections. The downside is the persistent hard selling of beach vendors who can be a nuisance.

Doctor’s Cave

This beach on Montego Bay got its name from a cave that was once used to access it before it was extensively damaged by a hurricane.  Doctor’s Cave Beach packs plenty of history including being the beach that placed Montego Bay on the global tourism map.

Treasure Beach

On Jamaica’s South Coast, Treasure Beach is the epitome of a serene yet affordable beach vacation destination. Located in an area where the local economy is driven more by farming and fishing than tourism, Treasure Beach is an excellent place to appreciate the culture and lifestyle of ordinary Jamaicans.

Dunn’s River Beach

The spectacular waterfalls that mark the meeting point of the Caribbean Sea and the Dunn River. You can climb to the top of the falls, take a dip in one of the small water pools or simply appreciate this wonder of nature as you bask on the beach below.
